Thank you for all the comments, it's great to hear from you!
We have arrived in Delhi! We went by train in the end. It was quite fun, we shared a carriage with some lovely Indian-American ladies who gave us some good advice, though they snored like troopers! The journey was great, we saw some great sights, and rachel had the best nights sleeps shes had since weve been away. Delhi, is a bit more organised than Mumbai but the touts are worse. Getting a taxi was awful. Our original accomodation was horrible, we couldn't get out fast enough. So now we are staying a bit futher from New Delhi where are two contacts are, but we are in a more touristy distict which is nice for Rachel as she gets stared at a lot and she is not such a novelty here. It does mean there are more sellers here and they are very persistent!
Yes Tim we did get asked to be in a Bollywood film as an extra while we were in Mumbai, but it was a long day and we didnt have time. We would like to think it was because of our good looks, but it was simply because we are white.
Adina, we have not seen any other gingers but there is a trend for old Indian men to die their hair a dark orange colour!
We start with ASHA tomorrow, a Tearfund charity which we are nervous about, and we are tired from our train jouney and from all the sellers, but other than that we are fine, no Delhi belly yet.
We are missing:
coffee, sofas, pubs, unspicy food, peace and quiet, family and friends

I like the way 'family and friends' comes at the end of your 'missing' list!
We're missing you too!
I'm sure ASHA will be great, a fantastic experience. Enjoy.
The Kehoe twins said they were coming to India to find you. Swansea's own version of the Mitchell boys!!!
Missing you both, (Rachel a bit more than Jared)
Alun
PS. Had to use Liz's username and stuff
Jarade and Rach!!!
Dee here....just to say hope your trip is going well, sounds like it so far from your blog. I am still in Sydney so PLEASE e-mail me or call me on 0424549204. If you have time...Take Care looking forward to hearing more about your travels.
Love, Dee x x
Glad you are both chipper. Things at the Red Cafe are struggling without you. We've been plagued by hoards of young people with banners and placards protesting. Apparently word has got out that Jared was asked to leave because he is ginger and obviously Rachel went too. They think we got rid of Mark in the summer for the same reason. 'The Evening Post' have been in touch asked for our angle on it but so far we've got away with 'no comment'. Please pray for us as this could have a negative effect on our standing in the community.
Tim has finished his exams, Heather had her MRI scan on Monday (results in a wek or two), Dave is running a dj session in music mix as I type, Parents' Morning has started at Red Cafe on Tuesdays (7 at the first one yesterday), The 14-19 network payment came yesterday so Jan is pleased, Phil Hills (Elim pastor) is leaving Swansea to go to a church in N Ireland and Abigail Wilson is being dedicated on Sunday at Linden. Mr and Mrs P et al will be there so it could be interesting.
Blessings from the homeland.
The news that Chirs didn't share:
Chris Matthews is currently embroiled in a scandal of mammouth proportions as he disagreed with Jon Sampson on some theological issues. Many of the church are calling for his head!
A ship was wrecked just off the coast of devon leaving it's cargo of goods littering the devon coast. The police used all their efforts in trying to stop a ginger swansea man named Jared looting the lot and as a result the whole of devon seized the spoils!
I'm surprised Liz didn't tell you but a flamingo has been blown away from a zoo in the recent high winds. The zoo keepers are concerned for it's safety as apparently they fear it may be a racially motivated attack!
I am currently applying to become lord and master of swansea in your absence!
Any danger of some pictures soon?!

In connection with the scandal, Chris has been accused of a theologically-motivated stabbing.
The rest is all true. Flamingos, Devon scavengers etc. You don't know what you're missing.
xx
