Goan Around and Around

Once again we're sorry for the no pics yet. if you want to see how brown we are and a massive fish i caught then send us an email and i'll forward you.

We hope you're all well.

It's great here. Feels like we're holiday makers not backpackers. It's 35 degrees every day and i'm getting lots of new freckles. ( the Indians seem to think its a disease and that i either need a doctor, an umbrella or some special cream! - I guess they don't see many freckles)

Most days we spend reading on one of the beautiful beaches here, jumping in the surf then going out for food to a restarant. (theres loads of good food and its all really cheap) Although even on the beach we get hassled from people selling maps, fruit, clothes, toys, massages, jewellery, ice cream, days out...its nuts but they're less persistant than Delhi and Mumbai. We hear its snowing in the UK. Wow! No work. No school. Pull a sickie! Go on. Enjoy the break.

We went crusing round today on a moped. felt like i was in easyrider, but its only 100cc. was nervous at first but we get the hang of it after some crazee wobbles. Everyone drives them here. We saw a family on one the other day! We did a cruise the other day and saw loads of dolphins and i caught that fish you may have seen. It was a Kingfish (not the lager) and we then ate it for lunch. They cooked it for us.

Keeping well away from the Goan Trance at the mo. It's all 80's Cheese and lots of UB40 here in Costa Del Cavallossim. We are going to explore up north in a few days, thats where the free parties, the hippies and the backpackers go.

We hope you're all well. We miss you, some of you less than others!

It's great to be here and rest but we are missing people and Britian at times. Anybody know any cures for homesickness?

love jared and rachel

That's a great picture. I made a snowperson in our garden with our snow which was great fun!

As for homesickness, well at least you are in contact with people back here. It's a lot worse if that's not an option (if that makes you feel any better...). Keeping busy is good too.

You got to see dolphins? They are amasing creatures and a delight to see. Thinking of you two. love, mariax
